I can’t understand why Champagne is so expensive in the US. I was in Champagne and a bought a bottle of brut nature at a champagne house for €20. Crazy!

I've had a 12 dollar Asti that tasted better than a 60 dollar bottle of demi-sec champagne.

You pour champagne too high and dissipate too much of the bubbles. The bubbles are a big part of the tasting experience of Champagne. Try to keep as much of it in the wine for the tasting. No need to show off to anyone the bubbles, the pop or the spray unless youve just won the F1 Grand-Prix.

Expensive champagnes are like artsy fartsy coffees. Yeah they may not taste bad, but it’s not worth the cost. Cooks champagne is loaded with bubbles! 🍾🥂
