Robot mounted EAF 360 Camera // High Temperature Moving Camera for Electric Arc Furnace monitoring

The vortex cooled (either compressed air or nitrogen) camera is mounted on a robotic arm / pusher arm and pushed inside Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) to capture view. Camera stays inside for 25-30 seconds and comes out after capturing the view.

These cameras are amazing. A fire testing laboratory my company used has mounted air cooled camera, and the view in a large 3000F test furnace was amazing - just like looking across a room. It filtered out the brightness of the inside of the furnace so it did not look like anything was at 2000F.

after a visual inspection with an eaf camera, i can confirm that the furnace is indeed hot
