FYI these are Super high maintenance. Also cost around $150 a piece and need a minimum tank of 125 gallons that is temperature controlled to a fairly strict temperature.

These are called flashlight fish. I used to work in an aquarium and raised these guys. They are INCREDIBLY DIFFICULT to raise and keep alive if the conditions aren't perfect. It was at the Tennessee aquarium and they are nice and I miss them. I just don't miss having to scoop out the dead ones because we had trouble replicating a normal habitat for them. Hopefully they're doing better now.

I’ve seen these fish personally and they’re no less amazing. They’re really unique fish and I do thank you Jordan for telling me why they glow! I’d absolutely recommend you seeing them for yourself! You won’t be that disappointed!
