Really interesting to see what the price of this will be but also how real world gear is mixing with sim gear to the point that its now the same thing.

I'm undecided so far. My budget at the moment says I should go for a garbage can lid instead.

Fanatec went back to their roots. Nice!

I bet I can't even afford to look at it on the website.

I prefer the look of the (discontinued) McLaren Fanatec wheel.

As soon as I saw the wheel mentioned, I knew you'd be bloody shilling it.

So its going to have a "real race car wheel" PRICE! F

It look to me that the quick release is only a dummy in the film. No connection between wheel and base. My guess looking at the bolts and fixing on the back of the rim it will have the standard Fanatec QR when finally released.

I'm guessing it'll be in the 1500 to 2000 price range. Maybe they could stretch it to sub 1500.
I'm sure BMW saved a lot of money having fanatec develop this wheel so that will keep the price low both for us and for the real racing teams looking for spares. Also I wouldn't be surprised if BMW didn't ask fanatec for a licensing fee for this wheel which would keep the price down even further.

Thankfully! Finally A wheelrim that the avarage simracers can use on their real-life GT3 Car! That no manufacturer came up with this before! This is a big market!

You know when someone is a true shill. When they make a 10minute vid pumping only an image from the internet 😂

When you said this wheel is not a replica, it got me thinking how the style of some people like you, Jimmy, or Jardier can't be replicated by others no matter how much they try. Just wanted to state that as a thank you for all the years you are providing us with content.

Watch the video. There is an adapter for the DD1/2

Watch the video on the fanatic site. Right at the end after you see the face on shot of the car with its headlights on you will see the wheel. This wheel shown unfortunately has white stripe graphics on but bottom right and also top middle area it is in normal carbon fibre twill, basically different to the forged carbon style that this is. I really do wonder if they are exactly the same. Maybe I’m wrong but say an F1 wheel costs £40, 000 which is arguably more detailed should therefore give us an idea regarding a GT3 wheel. Best case your looking at £10, 000 for real 🤷🏻‍♂️ IMO. And that’s the one at the end of the vid I mentioned. Thanks for content 👍🏻

Are we able to change the label on the buttons? There are atleast 3 we dont use or need for sim like the ALS, TC (we cant have it turn off and then auto back on in 5 seconds)

Dammit, here with my CSW 2.5 and F1 V2 + shifter upgrade and a Universal Hub + 285mm D rim. Should've bought a DD, GM says... well, I guess Save up for the next year 🤷‍♂️ can't have the wheels cost more than the base xD

This thing will be expensive because it needs to be FIA certified if they are directly used from Fanatec in the real car, otherwise it isn't even allowed to be used.
That certification doesn't come cheap. Add any licensing and R&D costs to that, manufacturing and profit margins too, plus you have to add a complete new quick release and you have an expensive tool I think... 1500 euro maybe? Maybe more?
