This is the actual steering wheel created for the 2022 BMW M4 GT3 race car.
The units used for GT3 racing come off the same production line as the units available for purchase.

It's about time there was an evolution from the McLaren rim!... The Formula rims' diameter is just too small.. but... It is going to be expensive isn't it.. And is that a new style quick release?... Another extra... Don't want to come across all negative.. I love Fanatec gear and have the full set myself.. But I've run out of kidneys to sell!!!.. lol

Fanatec had a trailer like this years and years ago with a GT3 CSR wheel, I think. It's been quite a while ago, back when Thomas was doing most of the promo work.

Looks sweet. I wish it looked like it did during the entire video though, the end product shot looks basic without the livery design accent. The d pad hidden under the BMW logo is cool, but i wonder how the functionality will be during a race (since its in the middle). Hopefully the rotary dials on the handles have a bit more resistance than the ones on the V2's as well. Looking forward to window (or online equivalent) shopping since this is a "real" wheel, most likely it will have a "real" price.
