From an outsider looking in, you are quite self disciplined already! You’ve been consistently uploading. I’ve wanted to start a YouTube channel for 5 years and never done it for fear I couldn’t keep up with once a week! And you do it so well! Even though it might flow for you and feel fun, you are still so consistent and have been ! That’s not to be written off Zoe ! You should be proud of what you do weekly! especially through the pandemic ?! Working full time?? amazing!

Zoe, Can I just say...out of all the youtube channels I've come across yours has inspired me the most. I was let go of a toxic job that was excruciatingly difficult this week. Also in the consulting field except I was specializing in software. The job was so demanding and required so much self teaching. My boss was very supportive and encouraging but her training style did not align with my way of learning. She would get so frustrated when I asked her questions and write me emails how disappointed she was over minor mistakes. I was overly exhausted and running on very little food and sleep everyday. Everyday I woke up dreading my life because this job sucked the soul out of me. I was let go because she could tell how unhappy I was and I wasn't meeting her expectations because I was so burnt out after only 3 months. Sometimes its worth taking a pay cut for your mental health and doing what you love. I love beauty, skincare, and would love to be a youtube beauty guru one day. You really are super articulate and financially literate. I also love how transparent and relatable your content is. Like me, you aren't someone who can be put into a box. Your creativity and passion transpire the mundane corporate atmosphere. Keep growing and keep doing what you're doing because it really is motivating and makes others feel less alone. <3 <3 =)

Hi Zoe. I'm 31, have had a complete career change in the last few years and still don't feel that I am where I am supposed to be (and am finally admitting it). It's such a tough spot to be in, especially when we get attached to the money. But I am determined to not give up on myself. I will be happy in a job eventually. So I admire the heck out of you for always trying to stay true to yourself. And for sharing the wins and stumbles along the way. You help me all the time ❤️

Hi Zoe. Just a observation from someone looking in from the outside, I just wanted to tell you your doing amazing. Not a lot of people your age have the self awareness and skills you have that you work on every day. I know sometimes it’s hard to see your own hard work but your doing it !! Give your self a chance to breathe. You deserve it.

I feel you so much! I'm turning 25 this year and ever since graduating, time has flown by and I feel more and more lost as life goes on lmao.

My 2022 was such an emotional ride too. Quit my job in March without a back-up plan and only my savings as a safety net, but knew I had to get away from my toxic manager and being un-valued while over-worked. 4 months worth of interviews later, I finally landed a wonderful position with a prestigious company and more than double the salary I had before. But the sleepless nights, anxiety, self-loathing, and questioning life in between then was so gut wrenching. I love the "live frugal, feel rich" mentality - will be putting into practice ASAP! Side note, I looove your necklace, where is it from?

Prices have been going up like crazy and still going 😭 I have the exact same thoughts and feelings and I can't seem to stop myself from feeling this way. I know it is not easy to share your doubts and emotions and I appreciate and respect your transparency Zoe.

Hi Zoe, love your videos. I totally relate to this sometimes. I am a trained actor but at the moment had to fall into an ordinary job to pay the bills, its really hard sometimes and I can be harsh on myself regarding this, but over time I have slowly learnt to just accept what is going on in the now and just be thankful. I used to really get anxious and worry about things, but what I have learnt is that all this stuff just makes us who we are and is a part of the story. Whenever I get a moment of anxiety or worry, I just look at all the amazing people I have in my life, and look at what I have in my life, and it puts things into perspective. Same with the money worries, I used to beat myself up if I did not save what I had intended to that month, but as the cost of living rises it has become harder. I now just do what I can, be sensible but also not deprive myself as life is extremely short! x

I identify with you so much! I also lost my job 1 month ago, a very similar story to yours. 1 month later, I know it was for the best, and I try to enjoy my life a little before applying again, or doing freelancing. Your story is a really insipiration to me <3

The only person you have to spend every second of every day with is yourself. Loving yourself is so important.

your financial videos always inspire me Zoey! Been on my own financial journey and saving money, so seeing someone “normal” and not live this extremely extravagant lifestyle is more inspiring for me and refreshing to see 💖 great video!😊

Wow Zoe you’ve changed so much since January/last year. I took a pause from YouTube since then and watching this now and seem like mentally you’ve become much kinder to yourself! It’s awesome.

I think you're doing amazing Zoe I can totally see it. Some periods of our lives will be more challenging than others but the better days will always come. I agree with one of the comments that I read, I feel like you are disciplined and sometimes we tend to be more strict with ourselves when in reality we're doing great ❤ I really hope that I won't be financially anxious one day as well cause it is true, when you live in fear you don't love yourself the way you should.

Looking back and recalling the mindset you were in when first setting goals is such a great exercise! It’s so easy to lose that in light of the everyday hustle and bustle. Here’s hoping the rest of your 2022 is filled with discovery!

2022 has been good, even tho I feel like I could be doing so much better. I’m feeling kinda burnout from work. Maybe I just need to take another vacation and work on myself to feel more positive. Prices are high everywhere, from groceries, to gas, to utilities !
But I actually like to coupon for household items at my DG. You can get pretty good deals on saturdays. Lol

Sometimes I wish I could have more free time
😊
Your outfit, nails and makeup are on point 😍😍
Hope you have an awesome week girlie and thank you for sharing this video with us♥️

Always love hearing you talk about your goals, both personal and financial, and appreciate your honesty with difficulties. Helps me to see I’m not alone with the mental struggle of being too hard on myself sometimes when things don’t go the way I thought they should. Thanks for a great video!!
