Forgotten Hot Rods Found After 50 Years - 1932 Ford & 1934 Ford

Over the past 3 weeks we have shared an in depth look at the Larry Schroll Estate. Matt was lucky enough to purchase 2 of the Forgotten Hot Rods that Larry had stashed away. With the help of a few friends, and a new winch from Qudratec, Matt works on rescuing these amazing Hot Rods. The Red 1934 Ford Tudor Sedan was purchased by Larry in 1970 and lived in the garage attached to the house. Larry was in the process of painting the firewall and a few odds and ends, so there are pieces all over the garage. The 1932 Ford 5 Window Coupe has been in Larry's possession since 1963 and lived at his parents house, until it moved to its current resting place. We cannot wait to dive into the history of these cars and see what we can find. Be sure to subscribe because there will be regular updates on both of the Forgotten Hot Rods!!!

Huge thanks to - Jorma, Pete, Jason, Andrew, Jadon, and the Schroll Family

You are making me more envious with every video. What could be better than finding two vintage hot rods. People of that era put them together with what they had or could scrounge. By today’s standards, it might not have been great but, if it got you rolling it was acceptable. Bringing back memories of my youth one video at a time! Thanks, Matt.

Great buys, at least they were stored inside and not in a swampy junk yard. Awesome. Cheers

My era of machinery! Hope these two end up near your shop. I'm only an hour or so from you & these two give me more reason than ever to make a small road trip in your direction. "ANXIOUS"

I'm glad you were able to get those two car. They have IronTrap Garage written all over them. My wife and I were chauffeured in a red 34 Ford sedan just like that one. Right down to the wheel style and all. Can't wait to see these on the road again.

This Ford is like a vintage wine. It is the remains of a season, the sweat, the energy of the factory workers, the hands of the salesmen, mechanics, the people who contributed to its existence. It's a reminder of summers and winters past. Scents, colors, and visions of 9 decades ago. It's only a decade older than me.

Matt your paying a very nice tribute to Larry, Goodman. Also I'm glad to see these cars coming out of Pennsylvania where we all live. I hope to see these cars some day.

That was fun to watch . Reminded me of some of my friends way back when . Nice to see some people still playing with that old stuff . I did up a 33 Vicky the year I left the forces (1981 ) It passed everything but a gas station .... Those were the days .Cheers from Canada....

Amazing. Nothing short of amazing. Probably been said before the "Dead end sign" was pretty cool to be there where it was.

34 mags remind me of Berry and Chung mags here in NZ way back in 1960's-70's.They also did manifolds and rocker covers in cast alloy.Get it running but quick.Could be your Mrs lTG's daily drive, grocery getter.
