Having gotten my grubby mitts on Majestic 13, I can attest to it being a stonking good game. Very well-written and laid-out rules that get you up and running quickly yet have a surprising depth, both for the actual gameplay and the campaign steps. Missions are designed to last a maximum of 5 turns and with a squad size set at five and usually only a single foe to fight (at least in the solo game), these turns go quite fast once you have the mechanics under your hat. Thanks to the religious faction, I finally have a use for all of my "Nuns with Guns" and armed Cthulhu Priests. Father Brown and Sister Boniface are currently looking for more initiates to fight the good fight against the FORCE.

Those Little Soldier Minis look great too. The hardest part would be picking a range to start with because they're all awesome.

That Cad Bane model is great - politely tipping his hat to greet you while blasting you in the face!

Thank you for the shout out. Gerry will be gratified to learn that I’ve not heard any mispronunciations so far, but then it is quite early in the show. (Just after the reference to Noggin the Nog, which I do in fact remember from what was either its original screening or, more likely, early repeats). I have fond, if vague, recollections of it, though it was Captain Pugwash that really found a place in my heart, along with the Gerry Anderson shows - I was the proud owner of Mike Mercury riding his jet bike - though I never experienced Supercar. While the fate of that once treasured toy is unknown, I now own some of the vehicles from those shows in gashapon form (as with the Akira figure from which my avatar is taken). All this, of course, is part of the constant struggle to reclaim the better parts of my childhood, including the lost innocence and sense of wonder that are gone forever, making me the bitter person I am today.

6mm Terrain From The Lazy Forger is so insanely detailed, love to upscale it 😃 But who does not like the Firefly big box, hope OnTableTop film their playthrough.

Another glorious day in the corps! I love the corps. PS. Its important to keep your Gerry's cool during these summer months, crack a window or leave him a cold Guinness.

The indie of the week was fantastic to learn about! Not only do they have models that remind me of Ralph Bakshi films, but it introduced me to Noggin the Nog. I had no idea those charming stories existed!

Another great weekender guys, what do you consider hot over there in it was 35C today
Cool 😎 looking set of miniatures for making a interesting game. World of Tanks game, to bad they didn't do what War Thunder did with the Lee tank and allow different guns to fire. So add some 15mm miniatures to your Flames of War.

I'm watching this on same Friday night— 6:30pm, and it's bloody 38° C in Austin, TX. Now I can get cracking on that playable hnefatafl diorama with my viking expectations met. Also, I adored the original Crossbows & Catapults as a kid and now I can play it all over again with my very own spawn.

Seldom heard and sometimes seen, The Noseblower emerges! Its another great show and interesting to see Scans of the World finally get a spot in our sunlight. The terrain that can be added to tables for appropriate scenario flair is well worth the dive into the collection

Love the look of those HH fantasy models and also some vikings! I've had the Ragnarok rulebook sat on my shelf so might start building a couple of forces for it now.

I’ve played Aliens: Another Glorious Day in the Corps. It’s a lot of fun. The first scenario where you’re rescuing Newt can be highly entertaining as she constantly tries to scamper away from her rescuers.

Regarding the World of Tanks platoons, the Americans cannot have a Wolverine, which is the name ostensibly given by the British to the M10 tank destroyer (though it seems highly doubtful the name was widely used, if at all). In US service it was known exclusively as the M10, though they did give names to their other TD’s, the M18 ‘Hellcat’ and M36 ‘Jackson’ (essentially an up-gunned M10).

Never heard of Noggin the Nog but it looks delightfully quaint. I might just have to take Gerry's advice and go digging for it to watch with the little ones.

Thanks for this compilation. Amazing as usual! I am waiting to see the shatterpoint miniatures in my local store (as a shield save for my wallet...)

Great stuff - lots of things I wouldn't come across anywhere else but all inspirational. Probably shouldn't say I'm watching with a long cold drink next to a fan at full blast !
