I do not not like Airbnb telling me what I am suppose to do as a long time hostess now, all of a sudden. I am not a child. Further, as a long time member I do what you suggest and more but every month I receive less guests because Airbnb has opened up to all of Santiago.Chile so the competition is too much. I cannot afford to lower my prices. Too I am an Bread and Breakfast not a youth hostal but Airbnb lists me as such so I compete with listings at $10 a day.
Further, there is an Airbnb listing with the Chilean Presidential Palace in the background for $23 a day. My friends ask me if the Presidenta will be serving breakfast.
In all seriousness, this is going to far. At this rate how can guests believe I am a serious hostess.
Now when I have a problem I can no longer contact anyone in Airbnb. Everything is automated and none of that addresses my queries.

i hate not having a email or phone number before they swipe their card and airband b keeps the service fee regardless. swipe keep swipe keep not sure if we will continue we the rip offs,
