Wdym Conte's team wasn't ready??😂😂 We won the league in 2015 and from that squad we still had players like Courtois, Cahill, Azpi, Terry, Matic, Fabregas, Willian, Hazard, Costa, Ivanovic and we strengthened our team by adding kante, alonso, moses and luiz. If a team is to qualify for the Champions League, they need to be in the title picture until (at least) January. Chelsea have a good chance of making the Top 4 if they keep up this form, injuries and defensive errors permitting. So yes, at this early stage of the season, Chelsea should be in the title picture and conversation, but with a very outside chance.

Chelsea fans are used to winning titles: UCL and EPL, therefore Chelsea fans are not as delusional as Arsenal/Spurs fans who erroneously conclude that they are title contenders or even going to win the UCL just by observing their team's form after a few games. We Chelsea fans know exactly what a title/UCL winning team looks like because we had that team and currently we can see what other fans cannot see: This Chelsea team as good as they have been so far, is not a title-winning team.
