RIP: Gabriel Pena
My best friend who introduced me to Green Day back in 1998 when I was only 14. Sadly, I recently found out that he drowned in the ocean a few years ago, leaving being a little daughter. He was a genuine wonderful person who, inspired by Green Day, dreamed of starting a Punk Rock band as a kid. We are all anonymous statistics who pass through this world on our journey to self realization, I want to leave his name here for posterity in honor of our friendship.

This is not only one of the best punk songs ever, but also one of the best songs in general! It got the topic, the music, the mood, everything! It's so rare for a song touching on very sensitive issues yet maintaining relief and entertainment! This song will never get old! It's a punk repository and a role model.

My cousin introduced me to Green Day with this song when I was 6 and I remember liking the hype and speed of song. 19 years later I still love their music. I am forever grateful for that !!!
