The outrageous talent of Caitlin Clark in the NCAA drew me big time to women's basketball and the WNBA. As soon as I dove into her stats etc. and her personal journey it was clear to me that she was the game changer the WNBA so desperately needed. The 'old guard' didn't like it and actively tried to stop Caitlin and the 2024 Olympics proved that because both Caitlin and Angel Reese should have been selected and the excuses flowed from the OG as to why they weren't. Pathetic, yet I think the new blood will rise above this.
