I'm a new WNBA fan because of Caitlin Clark. I'm not from Iowa, but I'm very impressed with Her skills and I'm certainly concerned for her safety. She doesn't need to be coddled but she needs to be treated fairly. Refs should enforce the rules!!! Blatant Hard Fouls, especially from the blind side should not be tolerated!!!

Nothing needs to change, refs just need to do their damn job. If an MMA ref can spot an illegal knee or eye poke in the heat of the moment, why can't other refs enforce the basic rules of the game? They should be well aware what physical play of the actual game looks like, and blatant assault. MMA refs can, when safety is at a far greater risk.
