This video explains the horrible treatment of 400 African American men during the Tuskegee Syphilis Experiment.

The Tuskegee Study of Untreated Syphilis in the Negro Male, was an unethical natural history study that spanned from 1932 to 1972. Conducted by the United States Public Health Service and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on hundreds of poor Black sharecroppers in Macon County, Alabama. The study blatantly lied to its participants about receiving treatment for syphilis and still impacts how many Black Americans view healthcare today.

THANK YOU for sharing in such amazing detail! I listened just now. I heard of this experiment before, but, obviously, not in such detail! I AM APPALLED! The hypocrisy and cruelty is just mind blowing! All while we were prosecuting the Nazis at Neuremburg!

And the nurse who stated that she was just following orders, saw no hypocrisy in her actions. While she maintained relationships with the untreated men as she waited and watched them die! Then had the nerve to attend their funeral's with the families!
