The idea that Pritzker has done great things for Illinois could only be uttered by someone who doesn't live in Illinois. Pritzker has been terrible on economic and social policies. He literally has no positive accomplishments. He eliminated cash bail. He has banned guns. He has sought to continually raise taxes and spend out of control.

Commenter Dan demonstrates the majority opinion of the Democrat voters I talk to. “We’re right, they’re wrong. We’re moral, they aren’t. We care, they don’t. We’re smart, they aren’t. We’re good, they’re evil.” Etc. Once you’ve convinced one side to believe these things, introspection, the need to make a compelling argument in a debate of issues, the need to protect free speech or ballot access in an election… all goes out the window. “We just need to win”… so we can force our righteousness on the part of the country that disagrees.
