So, Real With Mrs B You still had to pay something? even with the free Version of H&R block?... just curious

I use FreeTaxUSA.com for about 6 six years now. All I ever had to pay to them is $12.95 to file my NYS tax return. Also if you have Ebates then it gives 25% cash back from that and also has a 10% discount that you can add before paying. Its not much back but it helps. Maybe do a comparison on this one to see if its any better price wise?

Have you tried TaxAct.com? I've used it for 5 years now. I tried H&R this year to see which would be best for us and found TaxAct was cheaper and we got the better refund. I also had to use the upgrade instead of the free version due to HSA forms and our youngest is in college so we had scholarships & expenses to claim. I saved almost $60 by using TaxAct. They also have the fed/state refund/owe tracker in the corner as you fill out your info. Just wondering if you've ever heard of them or tried them? Thanks for sharing your experience with this. 😊
