This montage required many hours of research and editing, so please support me with a comment & a like ^^ !

For me, the golden age of WOTB will come to an end at the end of 2020, as I've gradually stopped my activity on the game due to the degrading matchmaking and some much too strong tanks... I've been playing the game since the end of 2015, and it's given me a lot of emotions, so I wanted to bring out all these memories in a video!

Just logged on to get the 10 year badge, damn i miss those old days grinding for literal weeks just to get one tier 10 tank

Joined in January 2015 and left in January 2020. There were so much funny moments I spent with friends in battles, in training rooms and in tournaments. We’d mastered every aspects of the game, studied every strats possible cause we were so into this game. I remember playing the T49 at its release before it was nerfed, it was one of the most broken tank because you could one shot every tank if you knew well their ammo rack location. For a short time it was the most important tank in a team because you could sent it flank and ammo rack the enemy while the rest of the team held position.

What really made us left this game was the constant amount of premium tanks being dropped, each time more armoured and broken. Not only that but the fact WG removed every possible mean to have fun in this game : T82, T40, Hetzer (nerfed), Medium I, M3 Lee, nerf HE, nerf T49, adding Smasher / 252 U/ and other abominations, and so much things I can’t remember. I’ve seen every famous clans vanish i.e : Kraken, Ice, Legion, etc. My favourite Wot Blitz YouTubers left too some of them because they had beef with WG and despite their warning and their CC status they felt ignored : Bello93, GentleFun, …

In 2021 and 2022 I installed Blitz just to see what the game became and each time I remembered why I gave up on it
Alternatively I’m playing WOT Pc since 2019. I know it wasn’t the prime of Wot pc but I’ve observed couple updates and all I can tell is that WG is so much proficient in destroying their own creation. They do really know how to make things worse and horrible. Because of that, I feel like I should leave Wot Pc too.

For me the golden era was mainly 2016-2018, but after the update 5.5 the era was buried. I remember how i joined at update 5.6 on december and first i noticed that many of my tanks vanished, mainly my T1 Cunningham where i had a lot of battles, and that was the last nail to the grave of my gold era for wot blitz

this made me so sad. All those times I was trying to grind for tanks.. I remember when I was at middle school, Im in second year of college atm, I used to open the game as soon as school ended and would play on the bus. WoT Blitz will always have a part in my heart.

I can't believe this is basically the only game ive been around for it's entire lifetime. Usually these videos you just see the past eras and go "thats cool" but theres something mentally different about seeing those clips and all of a sudden if feels like you're experiencing them again. GG to this game, it's a shame the direction it's heading these days. Might have to drop it for good if it gets any worse.

Real OG‘s remember that there was no camos, Hetzer was literally JGe100 at tier 4, Premium ammo dealt the same as standard rounds, When Fv183 was added it was such a stupid strong tank. +2/-2 matchmaking, i remember seein maus for the first time with IS3 in battle, and i also remember how i got oneshoted from 183 😂-1500dmg🤣or the old malinowka map, it was actually very big. Man i how i miss it, but hey blitz is still good, wg does a good job and they keep updating the game, 10v10 always was my dream and it became true. I m hyped up for the new mechanics and also bigger maps, blitz came a long way.

Ive got so much memories from old wotb, especially from yoututbers such as pantoufleee, havnt seen him in so long, and i think that the first battle pass where the thunder was introduced was also a big moment for wotb
