Here's the build video for my most recent round pedestal table build! Dimensions: 48" diameter, 30" tall

*Tools used in this video (amazon affiliate)*

Materials:
2x6x8 (x10)
1/2" poplar dowel
2.5" & 4" screws
Wood glue
Z clips
Feet levelers

Cut list:
Center post - cut 3 boards 24" long. Rip the difference between two boards stacked together (twice) for the inside of the post. Glue together and cut at 22.5"

Plus shaped braces: cut 4 pieces 32" long (2 of them flat ended, 2 at a 45 degree bevel). Cut 4 pieces 13 3/8" long (2 of them flat, 2 of them at a 45 degree bevel)

Diagonals: cut 8 pieces 14.75" long at a 45 degree angle on both ends

Top: Cut TWO OF EACH boards the following lengths - using 96" boards, you can get two sections with one board:
53"/43" (x2)
50"/46" (x2)
36" (x2)

I attached the top with Z clips and used leveling feet on the bottom.

The table is painted with Valspar Antique White and stained with Minwax Espresso. The clear coat is Minwax gloss polyurethane.

This was filmed with a GoPro Hero 8 Black and edited in iMovie.

I absolutely love this table. Could you build two of the pedestals for a dining table? I'm just curious.

Gorgeous! Thanks for sharing. I followed one of your tutorials on a console table. My very first wood project. I wish you could see how it turned out. You are my teacher. Thank you.

Looks soooo nice.
Do you ever get bleed through from the knots.
I have, so I have to seal the knots with spray shellac, on the knots only
Then touch up the knots with bonding primer, then paint.
Just curious.
