Delta Force 2 was the first multiplayer shooter I ever played. I remember being blown away that I was playing with real people. Crazy to think that was 25 years ago now 😆

assault: assault rifles and assortment of grenades.
medic: SMGs, can revive and heal.
support: can repair armor and rearm players, armed with shotgun.
Heavy: LMG, more health, slower, fire without prone or deployment and goodluck hitting anything.
sniper: recon, and so on.

is it really that hard to make a game with that kind of class system?

We're in 2024 in just for all the FPS games look feel and play exactly the same This one feels a little different but it still makes me miss Titanfall.
Edit: I'll correct myself. Most of the modern FPS games feel far too similar to each other, Not exactly the same.

Map design instantly looks superior to 2042. That was a huge issue with 2042, its like they had absolutely no idea how to make a competent battlefield map. That game had the worst maps in the entire franchises history on top of the other issues stemming from it being a hero shooter, bugs, lack of weapons and extremely horrid balancing issues between both vehicles and weapons.

I hope EA/DICE can get it together in the future but all hope is nearly lost for me. They screw up this next BF game they may as well axe the franchise forever and thats if its not already too late.

The sound choices is great. BGM, hit sound and weapon sound. Not fan of operator gadgets. Assault seems to be the weakest. Also the climbing mechanic need some work.

Game Studios: So, heroes with abilities and cringe animations at the end of the match that don't fit the theme of war at all?

Game looks fun and I want to play it. I'm just so burnt out on all the hero shooter, we need more ways to monetize, slop.

The leveling in alphas and betas are usually 5, 10 times faster than in the final game to test that aspect more efficiently

I'm surprised AJ never heard of the Delta Force franchise before. But it was closer to what the singleplayer campaign will be rather than this multiplayer mode.
