Great video. However, smart people can create counterfeit tickets with your logic by analyzing the QR code anddiscovering that it's just incrementing numbers at the end of the code. You should generate random aphanumerical QR codes with a length that matches the number of people, the value of the ticket and the risk of people trying to counterfeit them. If you're not sure, just generate an 8 character alphanumeric code (A-Z, 0-9) which gives you 36^8 = 2 trillion possibilities. Safe enough for any event.

This filter/sorting option, which is shown when listing scan results, doesn't appear on my side, because I have added an external database. You have to do it with a query string.

Hi, for some reason is not possible to relate the QR Generator with a ID Column, it only appears the name of the collection + count. Thanks.

Is there any way to directly link the QR code, to another page in the native app by just using the other person's native camera (the second party not needing the app and the scanner) similar to what almost every social platform has the days... Someone can just scan a user's QR code and it brings them directly to that user's profile page. Thanks for any help that you may be able to provide

Hi Adalo, I'm an absolute Newby here, have been working on my app, it's been slow but we getting there.
I need to ad in a feature where the app user will make use of the qr scanner in the app to add a contact file to their collection.
I already have the data available in a Company's database that is set up to feed into the app Directory.

Was thinking of adding in a unique company code to the database that the qr scanner will pick up in the qr code when it scans it and then draw the info from the company database to create the listing,

Or
To have the qr scanner open up the company info in the directory and then have a button to save to their collection.

Can you please assist me in setting up the pathway to make this work?

Come on guys, chill down. Do a proper detailed tutorial for beginners. Step by step. Not an overview

It's absolutely insane how bad Adalo's explanatory videos are, and this one just exemplifies that. "Then I'm going to filter the list on that screen to only show the tickets where they're equal to that input value, and that's it!" It absolutely is not it!! There is clearly a "Check In" button that is part of that list which now has to be coded to have an action where it checks the user of the QR code you're scanning in. Yes, I know a person can fiddle around and try to work it out, and that an intermediate to advanced user could make that happen easily, but to a brand new Adalo user, that omission in your "tutorial" could cost them 30 minutes trying to understand and find the solution. This is a common theme in your tutorials: you omit steps which might seem basic to you, but are hugely time-consuming and confusing to a new user. If you're going to explain something, it doesn't have to be lengthy, but at the very least explain it thoroughly. Every step in the process should be explicitly explained. For example, earlier in the video, you explain that the QR Code Scanner has a "Change Input Value" action. It would have taken literally 5 seconds to show the viewer how to "Add Another Action", hover over "More", and then click "Change Input Value". Instead, you simply assume that the user already knows how to do that. You have to be explicit with your instructions, or Adalo will stay a confusing no-code option, which will ALWAYS lose out to much more simple and readily understandable options with excellent tutorial videos such as Jotform. Please improve the quality of your tutorial videos, for your own company's sake if nothing else.
