My husband and I are retired. Our/my side hustle is selling our stuff, depending what it is, either on FBMP, EBay or Poshmark. We’ve both had to deal with our parents stuff when they passed so we are trying not to leave EVERYTHING for our kids to deal with. Plus we get the money 💰!

I recall in the group therapy I had years ago that "moving forward" through whatever it is we're going through is one of THE most critical psychological and emotionally healthy actions we can take when life & life events get us down. p.s. What I'm doing? I'm closing my small vintage booth at the end of the month (It really wasn't paying for itself but I enjoyed it a LOT for 2.5 years.) I want to focus more on developing myself as a fine art & mixed media artist (including paper crafting) and promotion & selling of my work. And even though I've drastically reduced a lot of stuff in my booth, and culled out some low value stuff to re-donate(but some of my best items are priced as FIRM, ) I'll have remaining inventory from the booth, and things stored at home that I'll be selling online or FB Marketplace or maybe flea markets and I'm planning a yard sale for the fall...when it's cooler...but I'll do it as I'm able without feeling pressure to sell, sell, sell. Thanks again & my best to you & wishing you great success for your biz ventures (and if whatever is not so great...then that's ok too..we need to be flexible and move forward, right?)

I am a reseller on Facebook Marketplace only I am lucky to live near a big city Toronto so I can join lots of groups & have lots of people look at my items. The slow months are summer but we know after that is the good months so I keep going lol Although its odd we made our most money in Jan & Feb for this year when you think people are the most broke so who knows. We enjoy having some kind of job we like since retiring & to downsize the crap in our house.

I only sell PT on ebay...I am disabled, I tried to rent a vendor space but it was the month before the pandemic lockdown, after stores opened back up I stopped because my booth was an hour drive one way and it seemed to storm every day I decided to go...I decided for many reasons I would only do a booth rental again if it was a few minutes away from where I live...so not really a hustle as I get social security, but I normally have a few sales a month on ebay and I have not listed anything new in a long time, I mainly do it to make money to donate to charities 15% automatically goes to the Elephant Sanctuary in TN, sometimes I am the charity (yikes so far this year a lot to the dentists)...I list in spurts when the natural light is just right and my cat is not bothering me
