Have you recently purchased a Cascade Dropper Post from PNW Components with the Puget 1x Lever and are in need of some help to install it on your bike? Follow along with the step by step video above to get back on your bike as quickly as possible!

Installation of a PNW Components Cascade Dropper Post and Puget 1x Lever requires the following tools:
- 5mm, 4mm, 3mm Allen Wrenches
- Cable Cutters (MTB specific cable cutters are preferred, but not required)
- Pliers
- Torque wrench

Disclaimer: Torque specs are stated for a reason! Please use a torque wrench when installing your components to avoid damaging your bike as that damage could lead to injury or death.

Thank you so much this really helped me install it, it works really well and no problems yet but the cable at the twisted open under the lever and I can’t get the crimp in it will it affect the performance

Can this video be linked on tha manuals page for the cascade lever? I think the online manual shows the loam lever. Installation went so much better once I found thins video, since I have the puget lever!

why is it so hard to cut the cable? I can’t cut it with anything, i snipped through part of it and there is metal in there is that supposed to be there ?
