This is a video about a skip technique which increases the profitability of farming Hellfire Citadel. In this video I got into more detail about the development of the exploit than normal-go to 5:34 if you just want the skip.

Another neat video! Certainly going to recommend this to the folks who ask me for tricks to speed up HFC runs. I usually tell them I don't have any tips here since....there's not much I've found I can do to make it faster unlike BRF. BUT now I got some ammo. Thanks Archvaldor! <3

Speaking from Experience, this does indeed work best with a DH, so thank you Arch for allowing others to experience this if they have the patience to get the timings right.

So, instead of fixing LFR Thok, which can not be attacked anymore, they are breaking a skip for HFC. Blizzard truly cares more about taking away fun than fixing things so we can HAVE fun. My sub runs out in about a week. They have given me no reason to want to resub again. They really don't want my money.

Why the fuck do they care so much about that skip when there are two intended skips built into the raid? And instead of randomly adding death planes, they could make it so all the first five bosses are required in order to spawn Gorefiend. As far as I know, there would be no way to exploit around that.

Blizzard don’t give a shit about legacy content of any kind it’s been nearly 4 years and they still haven’t fixed the throne of thunder achievement. x)

This seems oddly specific to work on. I get HFC is a gold mine, but this seems a bit much to prevent so many ways over 1 bug.

For me I simply did the questlines for unlocking the portals on mythic, and then do wings 2 and up only on mythic, heroic, and normal. Less raw gold but it skips most of the slowest boss hallways in the instance. It takes time to set it up on each character and it means you have to repeatedly defeat the first wing in order to unlock the portals, but you only have to do the mythic questlines to unlock portals for all difficulties besides lfr;
