2024 Hyundai Palisade Review on Everyman Driver
Показать описание
The 2024 Hyundai Palisade is the brand's largest SUV and its only vehicle with three-row seating. It's built in South Korea on the same assembly line as its corporate cousin, the Kia Telluride, and the two share the same smooth-riding chassis and powerful V6 engine. The better-selling Telluride looks and drives a bit sportier than the Palisade, but the Hyundai is a favorite in a crowded class that includes the Honda Pilot, Chevrolet Traverse, and Ford Explorer as well as the new Toyota Grand Highlander. The Palisade is refined and easy to drive with a spacious, comfortable, and upscale cabin that has all of the latest technology. It's also impressively quiet inside, so it's a joy on long road trips with all of the family aboard. It seats eight comfortably, although the Honda and Chevy offer more legroom in the far back seats and a bit more cargo space behind that third row. Most buyers in this class will appreciate the Palisade's light steering and well-tuned independent suspension, which prioritizes ride comfort over agile handling. The Telluride, new Mazda CX-90, and recently redesigned Volkswagen Atlas offer more driver engagement, while the Honda Pilot TrailSport and Jeep Grand Cherokee L lead the class in off-road capability. The Hyundai's fuel economy is mid-pack among a growing list of hybrids like the Grand Highlander. Overall, the Palisade's outstanding mix of form, function, and features is hard to beat, plus it costs less than some rivals and comes with the industry's most generous warranty. The 2024 Hyundai Palisade gets a few updates, including a new top trim level, the Calligraphy Night Edition. SEL models are updated with standard dual automatic temperature control with auto defogger and second-row automatic temperature control. The XRT trim gains manual rear side-window shades, and the Limited and Calligraphy models now have standard ambient lighting.
