I love how you can tell she is trying not to laugh while Red is dropping F bombs

Love the look on Hyde's face and the nervous hesitation when Red is telling him to come with him. He has no idea how to handle someone being worried about him.

Red is among the best tv fathers. Up there with uncle Phil, homer simpson, Mr. Cunningham. And others. His tough was truly on point for the decade, and helped prepare the kids that he saw after. He had a bond with each of erics friends and brought out the best in them all.

I had surrogate parents like red and kitty. Honestly they saved my life.

There are amazing selfless people out there. Thank you!!

The only reason why I likes this show was because Kitty and Red were super kind.

This scene caught me off guard 😂 but I love it how Red can be mean but generous at the same time lol

When you’re older, you realize you needed that scary hard ass parent to make you get it together 😂🤗
These two are iconic TV parents. ❤

This was the moment that made me fall in love with That 70s Show. Having grown up without a father, red was as close to a father figure as I could have.

Hyde sounded so happy when Kitty told him to get his stuff so she can wash them

This show was perfectly casted with incredibly talented people. Kurtwood Smith has ALWAYS been amazing. Debra Jo Rupp was so perfect as Kitty. Plus each of the kids were just as perfect as you could have hoped. Most had little to NO acting experience. Mila Kunis actually lied about her age to get the job. The fact she was then and still is adorable didn't hurt. The thing that really struck me was their connections to each other. Each one had some quirk. Eric the "good-boy", "Star Wars nut", Kelso was the clown, the good-looking goof, Hyde was the delinquent, Fez was Fez? Jackie was just obnoxiously spoiled, and Donna was the girl next-door. Again Red was the hard-nosed Dad, who loved his kids, Kitty was the Mom who cherished her family, and Laurie was "Daddy's girl" who had the reputation of being easy, and who was constantly trying to get Eric in trouble. Each one played their parts perfectly! But you could also see how much they enjoyed doing their work. Many sit-coms have been canceled from the actors not connecting. They all seemed to be at ease with each other, and became friends more than just co-workers. Even the lesser roles became more involved. Red's neighbors, Donna's parents, although her little sister did disappear. Tommy Chong's role as Leo was another BRILLIANT casting job. The ✍writing✍ or writers were spot on every week. Even the guest stars or one offs were well chosen. From Amy Adams to Seth Green, to so many up an coming stars at the time, too many to list. The Jessica Simpson appearance I could have lived without however. ESPECIALLY when she sang! Ugh! The Mitch Hedberg guest appearance as the Hub's counter guy was one more brilliant idea. I honestly WISH they could have been able to get Mitch on the show in a more frequent basis. His dry banter and wit was a perfect foil to the kids. I can't even imagine how Mitch and Tommy Chong would have gone back and forth between each other. I recently was given the 📀DVD📀 complete series for a 🎄Christmas🎄🎁present🎁 and since I received it I've watched the entire series, re-watched the series twice more. Although the last couple of run throughs I skipped over the last season with the exception of the first and last episodes. I just couldn't get into the Randy character. Plus Donna and "Randy" didn't have the chemistry that the other characters had. I'm not bashing him. When Topher Grace left and then Ashton Kutcher then also made his departure from the show, it lost a lot of it's chemistry and fun. The last season did have some okay parts, but it didn't match what came before it. Very few sit-coms have lasted when they've lost two major stars. Only M*A*S*H was able to not just continue but excel and become a #1 rated show. M*A*S*H is another great example of a sit-com whose characters had great chemistry. Sadly however ego's can get bruised or actor's can feel slighted. In the case of M*A*S*H I am still astonished that after losing not one but also two of the top three stars they were able to still achieve their incredible success? McLean Stevenson(Lt.Col.Henry Blake) and Wayne Rogers(Captain Trapper John MacIntyre) were such beloved characters and brought so much fun and insanity to the show and the humorous scenes, that when they both left after season three I still am amazed at how they not only continued but again excelled. I was just a little kid when Trapper and Henry left M*A*S*H. It wasn't until I got older and began watching the syndicated re-runs of the show that I understood what happened. Shows like these are extremely rare. So much so that when they DO come along, us fans become so much more involved with the characters, the plots, basically everything. The on-screen chemistry carries over and the fans see it and feel it, and it makes us care that much more for and about each of the characters.

The raw comparison of Hyde's life vs Eric's life is heartbreaking. Eric was a spoiled brat, Hyde was right about that.

Red Foreman "GOAT'ed" as the whippersnappers would say.

You got to love the father figures from That 70’s show, Fresh Prince, and Family Matters.
