The Christian Church is the Israel of God.

at 10:05-15 you Pastor Justin say 'here these gentiles have faith in Christ; they need to communicate that faith to the Jews...'

I'm trying very hard to reconcile these people of Rom 11:17-24 are not the church but these statements make it difficult for me. I can sure see if someone argues with me that the church can loose their salvation - I don't have much a leg to stand on if vs 13 is talking about the church. I can see otherwise, and do agree with other statements you make that these gentiles of Rom 11 are other then the church - but it makes it very difficult if one believes these are both gentiles of faith. I could see that these gentiles, or singularly a specific gentile Paul is addressing could be one similar to Cornelius. I'm going to draw out detailed information and compare the Romans 9-11 study here with Pastor Ron Knights study which may take me a while but I think you're on the same understanding, maybe with the acception of the above comment.

Maybe I'm confused simply because I consider those you're describing as 'the little flock' which better points to specific people while excluding gentiles of grace.


Edit - Ok this is making more sense as I continue to study this out - Rom 9/10/11 is Paul dealing with how God set Israel aside. God Bless,

The Christians and Gods Israel are the same. We became Christians (Gods People) by being grafted in with the Remanent of Gods Israel. The non believing Jews call Jews who believed in Christ Christians and no longer Gods Israel which was the opposite of the truth.
