Using the Jackery to power my fridge

This is one of the most amazing things about solar power to me. You don't need to connect power lines to your house, you don't need to buy gas or chop wood or anything for it, you just need to leave it in the sun and have power anywhere and anytime it's bright enough. Amazing!

For anyone looking to invest in a solar generator I highly recommend the brand EcoFlow. I have the delta max which is 2016watts. EcoFlow makes the best solar generators on the market right now. I did a month of research comparing multiple brands and watching hundreds of YouTube videos before I got mine. I live in my SUV as a nomad and I use mine mainly to run my 60liter 12v “Vevor”(off brand version of Alpicool) dual zone fridge/freezer. My fridge/freezer uses 36 watts when it’s running and it shuts off when it reaches temp (34 degrees). I can run my fridge for a week. I also use it to charge my phone and laptop and stuff.
Edit: I don’t use the freezer function because I don’t need it but it will go to -4 degrees Fahrenheit on the freezer side if it’s active.

Hey my man, next time you're in Lowe's or home Depot, grab some led refrigerator lights they only use about 5 w power compared to the 40 per bulb. And the best part is they don't get hot.

A battery based inverter I have considered is the EGO inverter. This can use up to 4 EGO batteries at once, and will auto charge the batteries if it is supplied with shore power (or solar, etc.)
Currently I use a 3kw (9kw surge) inverter running off 6 AGM batteries in 24 volt config. These are recharged as needed with dual 36 amp (72 amp total recharge) battery maintainers meant for boats.

I get frequent power outages in my neighborhood because the infrastructure here sucks so thinking about getting one.

I ran mine til it was dead and it misfired and stopped working completely! and luckily the company sent me a new one, but I haven’t even opened the box because I’m afraid to do that again. it’s worthless

It’s a battery pack. I hate how they call them “generators”. I suppose you can call it a “generator” when attached to solar panels but would your home solar be called the same then??
