This is so helpful! I am building out my 1988 chevy and I don't want to have to deal with a bunch of complicated wiring. love how simple the jackery is.

The 500 ran our home 6ft freezer unit for 10 hours from 100% charge. Hope this helps. So it can be used in an emergency at home for a short term power cut - one must assume therefore that the 1000w will give around twice that.

I got the Jackary 500 for my 7-week trip out to CA and back to TN. I set it up to charge from the car and it's 12v outlet was connected to my Apicool C20. The Jackary charging from the car easily kept up with the draw from the fridge. In a test, it ran the fridge for 48 hours and it consumed about 70% of the Jackary's battery. I also recommend getting Jackary's solar panel.

Jackery has a top notch marketing department. Almost all the channels I watch have promoted Jackery at least once. A win, win deal for you all.

This was perfect timing because I was just trying to figure out which size Jackery I needed for my car camping.

Yeah!!! Idaho! I recognise this spot. Been watching a lot of van dweller and seldom see anyone in Idaho! I love your videos. Especially your deep dives in idaho. Lived here 67 years and see some country with you I have never explored. THANK YOU

Love my Jackary 240 with solar panel for charging my devices while camping.

Thank you for your honesty about being sponsored. I ordered my Jackery 1000 before watching this, but love the honest review. 1000 is exactly my need for a 12volt fridge, phone, iPad, computer, and a 12volt RoadPro saucepan.

Thanks for the comparisons, Tristan, they are helpful. I own a 300W battery (not a Jackery) and it serves me quite well for powering personal electronics on extended weekend explorations. I'm looking to add a small 12V cooler to my kit next Spring so investing in the 500W Jackery (and perhaps a portable 100W solar panel) now will be a good decision.

THE 250 IS AWESOME FOR COLD WEATHER CAMPING WITH A GOOD SLEEPING BAG AND POLY PAD COMBINED WITH A HEATING PAD OR ELECTRIC BLANKET WILL KEEP YOU SNUG ON THOSE COLD NIGHTS AND THAT BAD BOY CAN RUN ONE OF THOSE HEATING DEVICES ON A MEDIUM SETTING (DRAWING 40 TO 65 WATTS) FOR LIKE 12 HOURS

I have 3 jackery- 2) 500w and 1) 300 they are a couple years old. Used them many times. Run my fridge while camping. Also have a 100w panel and a 60w panel. Used the 500’s at home when power outages happened. Love all of them. Someday I will buy the big one! I love portable stuff. For my Van RV I took the Onan generator out and to run my AC (which is not often) I just use portable gas generator and it’s great and small

Just FYI…I got the JACKERY 240, and, it runs my cpap in remote locations without power, for 8 hours, PLUS my phone and tablet while I watch videos/surf the net several hrs before I turn on the cpap and go to sleep. At the end of the night, I still have 34-38 % ….then it takes 4-4.5 hrs to recharge at home in the wall outlet. Btw I use the 110v wall adapter for my cpap, as I haven’t purchased the car adapter yet, and the tech at JACKERY said I could save an additional 15% from the power conversion if I do use the car adapter to power my cpap!!! I’m VERY impressed!!

My Jackery 300 can run a 40inch tv for 6 hours, hand held bender, and a few other things. It’s awesome

Tristan (I'm talking to you as if I know you personally, sorry!), I am so excited! I purchased the Jackery 1000 and solar panels. I work from home and have a minivan but I haven't been going out because I didn't even have enough power for 1 day. I take weekend trips but I have to be back home for Monday. As soon as it arrives, I'm hitting the road for some Florida adventures! Thank you for all of your videos... I know it is a lot of work in front and behind the camera. Your efforts are a great blessing to me.

I use a CPAP to sleep and I have been using a deep cycle battery with an inverter to sleep when I go camping. After watching your channel and a few others I ended up buying the Jackery 500 for my camping adventures. I have a 100 watt solar panel to recharge it already.

I would definitely need this to power my CPAP on the road, camping, etc., (or, best case scenario, RV life.)

Thanks so much for this video; I was on the cusp of getting the 240, but thanks to this video I see that the 500 would be the appropriate size for me
