For those who dont know:
In a manual transmission the engine power rotates the gears inside, the gears are attached to metal rods and on those metal rods are synchros who move the gears around when a gear shift is inputed by the driver. Normaly these gears (1st to 6th) spin in one direction and go back to back (1st then 2nd then 3rd and so on) and since the reverse gear has one extra gear to take that rotation and turn it the other way, it is place last on the gear row, so shifting from a high gear directly to reverse will fuck up your synchros, like beyond repair type of fucked up.
