Efteling Day 2: Magical Family Fun with Baron, Fata Morgana, Raveleijn & More!

Join us on our second magical day at Efteling, where the family dives into more thrilling rides and the park’s enchanting experiences. We journey through the magical waters of Fata Morgana, feel the rush of the iconic Baron, brave the water coaster De Vliegende Hollander, and take on the wild rapids! Of course, we had to go for some rerides because we couldn't get enough! We also caught the amazing Raveleijn show, a captivating experience filled with action and magic that the whole family loved. And to top it all off, we ended our day with the stunning fountain show, an unforgettable moment of beauty and wonder.

Thanks for the Efteling vlogs, I really enjoyed watching your vlogs! As a bonus, it was great seeing your family fall in love with the park after all. If you visit on a day with nice weather and short queues, it's hard to beat for families with small children. You can feel the passion they put into the park. I love how they still prioritise the customer experience, not money.

Saint Nicholas 28:44 is a Dutch tradition that lasts for 3 weeks until December 5, when it is Saint Nicholas evening where all children in the Netherlands receive presents. In the run-up to December 5, children in the Netherlands are allowed to put their shoe by the fireplace, putting a carrot in their shoe for the horse that Saint Nicholas has and the next day there will be a present in their shoe. But Sint-Nicolaas cannot do all this alone and has helpers called Chimney Piet who walk over the roofs and then slide in through the chimney so they can put a present in the children's shoes.

The fountain show Aquanura is the third largest in the world after the one in Dubai and Belagio Las Vegas.

Nice vlog of Efteling. The Madhouse Villa Volta was the first Madhouse to ever be built in the world. I dont know exactly when you went to Efteling but Wednesday is usually busier because children have the afternoon off school on Wednesday. The snack vending machines in Efteling we have them in snackbars / chippies in cities as well. The snackbar chain is called FEBO. In Amsterdam are a couple of FEBO's for example. They are very popular in general because you dont have to wait in line. In the 70's New York used to have these snack vending machines as well. For next time in Efteling suggestion to try the snacks frikandel, kroket and kaassoufle from the vending machines these are the most sold snacks at snackbars / chippies in the Netherlands. Also Polles Kitchen in Efteling is popular with people and children. Every 15 minutes a part of the kitchen starts spinning, it is a very well themed restaurant . Polles Kitchen it has typical poffertjes which are Dutch mini pancakes and they have giant Dutch pancakes as well. You can get the giant pancakes not only with sweet stuff but also with savoury stuff like ham and cheese and much more savoury stuff like you have on a pizza. Dutch people go to pancake restaurants with their children at night so pancakes are often considered dinner here especially because Dutch pancakes are huge in size . We even have pancake restaurant boats who go on the canals and lakes while you eat. Prices of entry, food, hotel, merchandise in Efteling are much lower than Disney because Efteling is not owned by a big corporation like Disney. It may sound weird but Efteling is not owned by owners or a big corperation. Efteling is in the hands of a foundation. This foundation focusses on theming and keeping the park authentic. Efteling is a family park with a fairyrale forest, (dark) rides and only a couple of rollercoasters. There is a lot of land to built more rides and rollercoasters on you might think but there are restrictions to do so, so it probably wont happen. Danse Macabre will be one of the most expensive haunted mansions in the world. Had you come at Halloween you could have been the first to test it out. The water show is the third biggest water show in the world and is best seen when it is really dark then you see the different colours of lights better. Las Vegas has the biggest water show, I was lucky enough to see both watershows. The same company that built the Las Vegas water show built the Efteling water show. I got the impression you went to Europapark and Phantasialand first before you went to Efteling usually it is the other way around. Europapark and Phantasialand are said to be the best themeparks in Europe. The Efteling is said to be the third best themepark in Europe. Efteling is one of the oldest themeparks in Europe, built even before Disney parks existed so I would not be surprised that themeparks that were built later took inspiration from Efteling. There is a story being told here that the man Walt Disney took inspiration from Efteling but no one knows for sure. Walt Disney has been to The Netherlands but that is all we know. I have been to Disneyland and I liked Efteling better. Disneyworld I have not been too but I suspect that is the best themepark in the world. There is also such a thing called Winter Efteling when everything is themed in a winter setting making it even more magical. A lot of people who went to "regular" Efteling want to go to Winter Efteling so I think you will need to book way in advance if you want to go.

Wednesday after 12:00 kids are off from school so many go to efteling on those afternoons. Thursday they back in school until late.
