【 Esther 9】Let go of sorrows and walk into a day of joy - Purim. ｜ACAD Bible Reading
Hello friends,
Let us read the Bible together. Today we’ll be reading Esther Chapter 9.
Mordecai issued a new decree in the name of the king of Persia, declaring that all Jews could rise up on the thirteenth day of the twelfth month to defend themselves against their enemies.
On that day, the Jewish people were well prepared, and many Persian officials and leaders even decided to help the Jews stand against their enemies!
Let’s read chapter 9 together.
Esther 9: 22
as the days on which the Jews got relief from their enemies, and as the month that had been turned for them from sorrow into gladness and from mourning into a holiday; that they should make them days of feasting and gladness, days for sending gifts of food to one another and gifts to the poor.
