Removing the springed clip from the original steering wheel to remove the chip for the heating element I think you should throw in this video. Did not know that until looking at other videos and saw an extra step in the process that you did not make the public aware of. Need to include ALL steps for a DIY training video.

I have the yoke in my model y and absolutely love it. I like the looks and feel. I drive with my right arm resting on the console and my left arm resting on the armrest. With my hand holding on to the bottom left corner of the yoke, perfect.

How do I get this wheels heating function to work in my 2018 Model 3? We all know the older 3’s never offered a heated wheel. Mine is the white wheel with custom air bag cover. But no clue how to get the heating part to work????

Brian, I noticed that you didn't show the removal of the top housing of the factory steering wheel so you can get to the controller/computer box underneath which is suppose to be screwed in with T10 screw correct? I also noticed that once you swap the controller/computer into the new box, it just slips into the cavity of new cyber steering wheel and not screwed in at all. In a different video of a yoke install, the Tesstudio installer removed the guts (controller, scroll wheel controller boxes (left and right), etc.) of the factory steering wheel and installed it into the aftermarket wheel. He mentioned that this helps eliminate possible incompatibility between the aftermarket scroll wheel controller and the car itself. Thoughts?

The reason they have you disconnect the power before messing with airbags is because if you accidentally create a short the airbag CAN go of with the car parked. However, the possibility of that very specific short it extremely remote, especially if you are halfway careful.

Can you please post the measurements L x H. Will this work with Highland since all the buttons are on the steering wheel? In other words can you remove the top plate and change with your own factory Highland cover/insides to make all the functionalities work?

Could you measure the gap between the top of the airbag and the bottom side of the wheel top please. Thanks!
