I just changed 2 days ago the oil in my opel astra k innovation trim 2020 ( 1.6 ctdi 136 bhp), it was its first oil change at 10 700Km, the technician told me that I can keep driving the car even if I surpassed the recommandé milage before oil changing ( up to 2 000km) since opel/ vauxhall / holdon are using high quality oil on all their models... Great little Car ❤️✌️

I have an Astra K 1.6cdti taxi and the % seems to go to 0 much faster than 20k. It recently went to 0% after only 10, 000 miles.

After the last ECU update or whatever, I see that every 10.000km or less I reach zero and my car loses around 2% every time it regenerates the DPF which is around every 100km 😅 … so every 10k km oil change and let’s go

I put 5w30 in my Astra 1.4 petrol turbo…. It’s stinking thru the vents… I’ve noticed the 5W30 I used is recommended for Citroen or Peugeot diesel engines!!!!

I have Astra K 2018(81kw)
Changed oil before 4months now after (6000km) it's at only 5%, should I worry. Can my car function normaly at 0% so I just change oil every 10000km? I do make a lot of small journwys

I changed my oil an filter about 7 weeks ago done just over 1000 miles an it’s already at 86 % 🤦🏻‍♀️

Weird, my counter was at 0% after 13000 kilometers, and that was 11 months after the last oilchange.

My Astra had an oil change in November and it's already on 20%. It was on 40% when I bought it in February. Why is it dropping so quickly? Car isn't used for work, as I use a work van, so it's only driven on weekends on to gym after work during the week. 🤷

Hello.. I would like to say a word also, after my experience with a Insignia 2015 2.0 A20DTR engine... so In around 500km, after I did the last oil change, this oil life measure drooped from 100% to 84%... in just 500km, 200km made on highway cruising at 130km/h. .. The rest in the city. So, from what I think, the ECU is calculating this oil life parameter, not by the nr of kilometers, but by the time of the engine running in hours, and the number of engine starts... I think also that this software of Opel, Fiat, is not very useful, but more annoying and confusing... You can't change the oil in 2000-3000km... I mean this is not a racing car/engine application... Anyway for those interested, the car runs great, no check engine light, no DTC, regen is good, no black / white smoke etc., around 200k km done so far. If others have other opinion/ experience just drop a reply....
