I find it funny how a step into the old days is what causes Jengle to make a new cube video and step away from his Cube "hiatus".
Also, (9:33) the sheer existence of this hits system is why i don't see how people remember OG cube so fondly, outside of nostalgia. It was too obnoxious for its own good to the point that the addition of Enchancer at the time feels like a bootleg band-aid solution to the issues with the hit system.
Either way this seems neat.

Love to see you living life and enjoying what you want to do, watched you for years and it's crazy how long ago the cube beta was. I haven't touched the game in over 6 months, no hate to the Devs but the 'frequent' updates are literally reused events from 4 years ago. I stopped having fun beating Halloween paths after the 3rd time and haven't played since. The Devs aren't updating as much as you'd think, I mean the change log literally said "skibidi skibidi skibidi skibidi 'new tower?' skibidi skibidi 'new gamemode' skibidi skibidi" and proceeds to add nothing. It's clear their passion for the game has dwindled and I don't hold it against them. Anyway love to see you doing well enjoyed this slower type of video and I'll be ready for whenever you want to upload next.

A trip down memory lane, glad to see you're back! This rendition of OG Cube is actually quite faithful, at least to my memory. Can't believe I've been at least following this game for the past 6 years - wish I could go back in time to re-live playing it in elementary.

also glad to see you are doing videos again and glad to hear you are doing good, also the best strat i found when playing the original cube defense back in 2020 was to make a massive (maxed out) plasma tower alleyway that obliterates cubes!

just to clear things up this is a remaster, and as such, I added QOL features to the game (eg. free hotkey, seeing enemy speed, shuffling maps, ect) and as such, isnt 100% accurate
