Appreciate your instructive assembly & review video Tom.
Believe the max. weight that the Masterbuilt rotisserie will safely support is around 9kgs/20lbs(?) But I’d be grateful for any recommendations or suggestions for a GS 1050 suitable rotisserie kit that will support up to 20kgs/44lbs. For spit roasts such as whole goat, hogget or lamb in a North African or Persian style stuffed with spiced wild rice, dried fruits & nuts.

Thanks for the review. If it has to be removed for over 450, I think they should have made it tool less. I wonder if you could shove a piece of insulation, piece of firebrick or something (maybe even crumbled up foil) between the outside of the grill hood and the motor when not using it to protect it.

Thank you Tom, I have been holding off on this purchase for a while now. I have seen several reviews that this device needed modification to the collar to operate correctly. Appreciate the video? Did you end up leaving the right bracket in when smoking higher temp meats? Does it get in the way when you put the grills back on?

Nice you should do a prime rib I’ve wanted to try a prime rib on a rotisserie for a while……. crank the heat up and get a good crust around the whole thing.

Hello Tom how long is the Pike for the 800er Series, i have the 800er but only the Pike for the 1050 and so i must cut the Pike but how long^^ Greets from Austria

That 560 is COMPLETELY different where the racks go compared to mine, I also have no shelf and my side table isn't stainless.

Still love it though
