I’ve heard that Lima is pretty dangerous right now, and that you shouldn’t reveal any name brand clothing or else you’ll get robbed at gun point in daylight (my Peruvian friends told me). How did you feel about safety? I want to travel, but as a white girl who speaks very basic conversational Spanish, I’m pretty afraid. However I want to break this fear because it’s holding me back from going where I dream to go.
