Gentlemen, thank you for sharing the video and breakdown of your deep mechanics. I'm a Canadian football official (roughly 35 years on the field) and work the deep positions regularly. Really enjoy seeing the philosophies and perspectives from associations in other provinces and across the U.S. Even with our larger field up here, I completely agree that being stationary when the "action" happens allows you to make better calls more consistently. If less experienced Officials have one takeaway from this video, it's to hustle to get yourself into good position, then settle in to make your call. Cheers and all the best.

Someone in my association in Alabama came up with “PREACH” as an acronym for DPI categories:
P - Playing through the back
R - Restrict (by grabbing)
E - Early contact without playing the ball
A - Arm bar
C - Cutoff
H - Hook (and turn)
