These people aren't "rocking" their traditional styles, they are merely wearing them. And thank you for the great respect you show to these people, but you are doing more harm than good because you are projecting thoughts and feelings on people who've been dead for at least 3 generations and those people were *not* happy, they either just had, or were about to be taken to a reservation; places that were in the middle of the US deserts. Many indigenous people are had never tried to grow crops on these arid locations and live was hard and work never ended.

Virtually all these photos are posed studio shots, with clothes and hairstyle provided by the photographers. Many of these folks were no longer wearing traditional clothes on a daily bases, only during traditional rituals, kind of like today's pow wows.
