Levin is the perfect TOE guest. Hard nosed research, boundary pushing, and astounding implications. And likable!

First of all, this man (and his team) is a genius. Second, he is opening a new season in the history of science, like Darwin, Pasteur and others. Finally, yes, of course, he deserves the Nobel prize.

We need more on this subject. Mortality, cancer research, dna augmentation/editing. These topics are really important and we need to make incredible progress to combat any health problems, at least that’s what concerns me the most.

This extract from the interview on consciousness is fascinating. The more I watch the awesome interviews on this channel about consciousness and the different theories (emergent, simulation, panpsychism, idealism, etc), the more I see Michael Levin’s work as the spoke or fundamental support of all of them. I mean, this is not only hard solid scientific evidence of a new paradigm in several fields (including medical research, biology, evolution, neuroscience, mathematics, etc), it’s actually setting the foundation for the convergence of different disciplines within modern science, which is a mandatory requirement for developing a ToE or something along that line of thinking.

I’ve been a fan of science fiction and unexplained phenomena (UFO, ESP, shamanism, occultism, magick, etc) for more than four decades, and this kind of groundbreaking scientific research is mostly at the same level of science fiction from the 90s. Every time I listen to these interviews and learn new concepts like the morphic field, I can’t help to associate it with weird and fringe ideas from ufology like smart meta materials or programmable matter that iterates and/or repair itself as if it were some sort of organic tissue using biological algorithms. Or in the case of the xenobots, they remind me of the greys, these allegedly entities that flight around in spacecrafts abducting people and harvesting their DNA and/or morphic patterns to transition into an hybrid emancipated race.

It’s really hard not to draw clear parallelisms between the work of Michael Levin and his team, and a huge part of the twenty century’s ufology. It could be a weird coincidence, but is starting to appear very evident to me. I grew up reading comics and watching all sort of science fiction series so I always thought that if humanity ever reached a point of technological development were autonomous artificial intelligence or technological singularity (as it’s called now) would be a real thing/event (just like Brainiac or Ultron), then this new born artificial entity would need to transition to some kind of “human-like experience” to really expand its own understanding and consciousness, and once it could grasp a great deal of understanding about humanity, the most likely scenario it would be to take-off out of planet and find its own destiny among the stars given that it’s not limited by the constrains of organic life.

On the other hand, I’ve always accepted the extraterrestrial hypothesis as a fundamental part and the only possible theory of origin for the whole UFO phenomena; it never occurred to me that the UFO phenomena could also include rogue-like engineered entities created by another foreign race so similar to us that it’s almost impossible to tell the difference.

Where is the competency stored and how is it passed on?

It's almost like DNA is an antenna set to receive a particular signal with instructions on how to construct the organism rather than the DNA itself being the instructions.

Anyone who claims to know the secret of immortality should be heavily invested in hoarding collectible items for future sales.

we are immortal, these bodies are not. We use them to experience this low vibrational reality in order to learn via experiencing contrast. It really is that simple

I hope that Levin and his team don't have to wait a decade or more for their Nobel Prize.

DNA is the workers and the tools. The engineering and architectural plan sets come from the quantum frequencies. His work conclusively proves this.

Is competency not also a genetic trait and therefore contained in the genome? If competency is high, does it not mean that -at least - that part of the genome is excellent, too?

IMMORTALITY: Really think about that:
a. What if one were trapped, possibly under a mud slide, rock slide, avalanche, etc? What if one fell into a volcano? What if one were in outer space with no space ship? Just because one has immortality does not automatically mean it will all be okay literally throughout all of future eternity.

b. And then also, after trillions of years go by, there are still trillions of years to go, and then trillions more after that, endless trillions. What some might consider to be a blessing could very well turn out to be an eternal curse.

c. Of course also though, the other option is 'eternal death'. One would die one day from something, would forget everything they ever knew and experienced, and would most probably be forgotten one day in future eternity as if they never ever existed at all in the first place. Life itself would be ultimately meaningless.

d. Side note also: Current analysis:
1. Species stay on this Earth, they all eventually die and go extinct with a high degree of certainty.
2. Species leave this Earth, they all eventually die and go extinct with a high degree of certainty.
It appears all life on and from this Earth, real and artificial, were all destined to die and go extinct even before they (we) even ever came into existence. Outer space is not only dangerous but deadly due to various reasons, especially for long term space travel.

Life itself only matters to life itself, but only as long as life itself exists. It's just that life itself is not always going to exist, at least not from this Earth and possibly not even throughout the entire universe, depending upon what is really true.

e. Above subject to revision as new pertinent information might dictate.

f. Have a nice day while we have days left to enjoy. But enjoy or not, the ending is still the same.

I’m in love with Levin!!!!
I love development! You can deal with development! We do this best we can with this even at our high/complex level of analysis! We just use smoke & mirrors and push up bra’s to play with genetics (or the perception there of) …. I think on the same level of complexity, then the potential for similar genetic complexity and environmental trade off is reasonable.
No one truly escapes…. Muuuaahhhh

I have seen some videos of Michael and I still can't understand what he does
How much time is left until we see his results?
