I'm Levi Flint, a Latin America enthusiast. I started Latino Fluency for two reasons: to simplify the path to fluency in Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese. And, of course, to teach you about Latin America.

Yeah, the more I learned the more I learned about how different countries use it and accents and pronunciations and vocabulary and stuff. It's like so much deeper than when I first started. I totally agree with you. Focus on a certain region and then expand from there. Awesome, Profe.

If English is your native language, then Spanish is one of the easier languages to learn.
The hardest thing about Spanish are the verb forms, and the fairly frequent use of the subjunctive mood. I was a Spanish teacher.
And until you get accustomed to just one particular dialect, then the different accents can also be challenging. Most of what we hear in the media is a Mexican dialect.
It could be as challenging for someone learning English who gets exposed to English in Mississippi, compared to England, or the newish politically charged versions of English in the USA.
