This is legitimately the only video in all of youtube that shows the proper technique for this. Kudos.

Thank for this video! I used that “needling” technique. And it worked for my ED patient tonight

I had this done yesterday after having lower back pain for a year, the relief was immediate for me, I am just dealing some soreness at the injection site, Tylenol is helping. Thanks for sharing this video. I shared it with family and friends who are curious about this procedure.

When is a patient not a good candidate for Trigger Point Injections and what are other alternatives for pain management.

I have to get these tomorrow in my mod and lower back and I'm extremely nervous. But, after having back pain for 3 years, this is my last option.

my sister has a chronic pain from trigger point but she does not have this jumping pain when it is touched ...is it ok or the trigger points must be associated with pain with touching ?

Very good video. Liked it. You certainly ticked all the boxes in your approach.

I use a different approach. That does not use injections or medications. (Big pharma may not be too happy). Hence -
Zero risk of side effects,
Zero risk injury,
Zero risk of infection.

It's 100% manual.
The pain reduction is instantaneous.
The pain reduction is up to 100%. Around 80% is the average. No of visits vary depending on the case. Sometimes just the one visit is enough.

Three techniques can be used own their own or in combination. Depending on the cause of the pain. Which are split into two.

1. Muscular Lesion
2. Blocked Meridian

The approach is similar for both types. All use infrared scan to pinpoint the pain source.

This can be done in two ways.

1. I use the palm of my hand to detect tiny variation in heat emanating from the exact spot indicated from the area by the patient. An acquired sensitivity through training and practice. Similar to a doctor palpating the abdomen.
2. Alternatively an HD infra red camera can suffice.

The Muscular Lesion.
Can by adapting the acquired sensitivity from a being trained Reflexologist. Then applying what I call deep neuromuscular technique.

By pressing very firmly on the lesion at the precise to immobilize it. Then stretching the muscle length wise. The muscle will stretch like a chewing gum. Then when relaxed it will not contract completely. You then have some play where the muscle can move within the limit of the play without pain.

It takes less than a minute to apply. Can be repeated right after several times if needed but 2 or 3 is usually enough.

Pain reduction is confirmed the by reduction or elimination of the heat emanating from the site.
Mobility is also significantly restored at the same time without pain.

Advise the patient to rest the affected part as much as possible. Higher protein diet to aid faster recovery. About 2 weeks. and not to keep testing the site by frequently stretching to see if it still hurts. This will delay recovery and promote greater scar tissue at the site leaving it weakened, than it otherwise would. Day to day activities can be undertaken, keeping within the parameters. Interim repeat treatments as required.

Please not the injury is still there the body will repair itself like lesion of scar form a cut.

Blocked Meridian

Is much quicker. Infrared approach as before, to pinpoint the source of the pain. If no lesion is detected. Then apply acupressure technique. Press down firmly and flick perpendicularly sideways . Repeat if needed. Takes just a few seconds.

Pain reduction is confirmed the by reduction or elimination of the heat emanating from the site. Repeated until no emanates.
Mobility is also significantly restored at the same time without pain.

The third technique is Infrared Reflexology for both foot and hand techniques. Same as conventional reflexology accept for the infrared part. Hand techniques are those whom have studied to advance level.

Reflexology is a manual pressure technique applied in a specific way using thumbs/fingers on different parts of the hand or feet relating to the corresponding part in the body. As a full treatment 1 hour appx. very pleasant and relaxing. Hear it is used for instant pain reduction in the space of a few minutes. Reflexology has official WHO recognition 2019.

Pain reduction is confirmed the by reduction or elimination of the heat emanating from the site on the effected part of the body as well as the corresponding part on the hand or foot.
Mobility is also significantly restored at the same time without pain.

In some cases works even through light clothing

Tried and tested in my practice successfully for over 35 years.

I am more into understanding the reason why an ailments occur. There is a book I can suggest on to anyone interested for information purposes only. A light read. Short and to the point.

HEAL YOUR BODY by LOUISE L HAY.

I have no commercial interest in the sale of this book.

Actually, just had one today. Having severe lumbar pain. Just make sure to tell the doctor to freeze the area very well. Do not look at the needle. I already had some relief but waiting for it to really kick in 24 to 72 hours from now.

I've have spinal trigger point injections, and let me be very clear-- IT IS EXTREMELY PAINFUL.
Fecking terrible. They will not tell you this. So heads up

This is so uncomfortable not sure why this is done without some kind of numbing, pretty sure we wouldn't even poke animals repetitively over and over this deep, and it feels just as bad as it sounds.

this was the WRONG thing to watch before my procedure, I'm having a injection in my left shoulder joint (literally the joint) and trigger point injections up and down my back, I have a VERY low pain tolerance, so the thought of that long needle going all the way in, and being moved around, scares the crap out of me, because I'd be jumping as soon as it went in, NO way they could do that to me without totally numbing the area, I wouldn't be able to sit still due to the pain....as for the one in my shoulder, dr warned me that it would be unpleasant, but the pain is already bad in left shoulder...not sure if I want the shot tho if they aren't going to numb it good before giving me the shot....needle phobic seriously
