Took the radio out of a 2007 Chevy corvette and installed a pioneer 2800bs

Good job. Concise and to the point. To the haters: If you don’t know how to remove the screws and unplug connectors on your own, you should probably not attempt this upgrade. This is the first video I’ve seen where the screws and connectors are already removed, and it makes for a much cleaner instruction.

I enjoyed you, thank you. My 05 has a Pioneer 4700 something. I just bought this car and the shifter linkage has a plastic Heim joint which decided 16 years is long enough so it fell apart. I wanted to see the console removal. Can you believe plastic ? Very disappointing.

Great video! My two question are:

1) What kind of double DIN adapter did you use and buy it from? I've seen some that look super stock and they are flush on the dash, but I've seen others that look totally like crap. Yours looks great!

2) The wiring and harnesses on the stock head unit has nothing to do with the wiring and harness on the new aftermarket head unit. What needed to be done and what adapters or wire mods we're done to connect the stock wires and harnesses from the car into the new head unit?.. and how do you even know what the wire does what, and is what, and connect to where? Also do steeling wheel audio control buttons interlace also with the new unit?

Rather than showing the process as an afterthought, It would have been much better to show the process as you are un-doing all the various nuts, bolts, screws, and clips.
