Recommend using kapton tape over painter's tape. More heat resistant and a good electrical insulator.

My bed is registering the temperature of the bed but does not heat up when I set the temp. It simply fluctuates around room temp 18C-21C and never heats up to the temp I set. Any recommendations on what I might try? I did buy a thermistor, but not sure if I need to change it, if temp is registering. Thanks for any help you may be able to provide. Thanks

Just want to share my experience. My heat bed also stop working. I simply replace a DC power line that connect to the heat-bed to the main board. Now everything work fine.

The person who assemble the original line tight up the zip tie too much. They should have leave some room for bending.

The Monoprice so so horrible. For a few cents more they could have put a molex plug on the heater and a decent cable between the board and the element. I have sent 2 back to Amazon because they have failed. If its under guarantee I am not opening it up!
