I just got pissed off that I took a 1hr Lyft Black trip from downtown to the airport, and I overheard the passenger say on the phone it cost her $144….. I only got paid $68. Wtf

If you go back in history, and they're still available, they are called cab/taxi drivers. They will literally come pick you up and take you to your destination. Very similar to Uber.

Not true. I was as a old driver 950 if I made 100 rides if I didn’t make the 950 they would pay the difference. So instead of taking the surge rides, and working full time every night I made the 100 rides and did not make the 950. I did it on purpose as I said I did not take surge rides I didn’t work nights when I normally would. So less then a month later I think I went back to driving May 11th, and in May 24 I got the promotion of 247.08 so not even two weeks later 11 days I got what I was guaranteed if I didn’t make it. So you simply have to work the system and not bust your ass to grab every ride. And yes I turned down a ton of rides especially those with a long distance pick up or 45 plus rides more then once.
