It's really shitty to interview regular people like this with such politically loaded questions. If he says something wrong, you've just potentially marked him as untrustworthy by the regime which could have severe consequences for him and his family.

These "rare looks" into N. Korea are becoming rather common nowadays.

Damn. On the bright side, they’re the only country that I could probably visit and not have to see people doing tik tok dances everywhere

Poor people. They don’t deserve that kind of treatment.

Wow, the British reporter and Nobel medicine prize winners are very brave for going and doing this. Hats off.

2:14 you will notice the girl on the middle had no hate on her eyes but smile and curiosity . This made me realize that they are people to just like you and me . The only difference is the place we are born . And what you thought what you believe in are right .

"Who won world war 2?" - A: Kim
"Who discovered flamingos?" - A: Kim
"How does Newtons laws work?": A: I don't know but Kim made it.

I can’t even get mad at the father stopping the first interview, he’s just trying to stop it before his child can say anything that will endanger his family.

Teacher: "Who won Second World War?"
Student: "Kim Jong-un".
Teacher: "Extra credits for you".

Edit: It is incredible no one understands sarcasm here!!!

Freaking hell. The microbiology students are twice better in English than the kids in my country who were taught English since preschool! Even the young man who discussed the nuclear bombs can communicate clearly even if he's stuttering.
It's sad to see that there are so many smart and talented children in there with very little opportunities after they graduate.
