I have pet bunnies. But this does not affect me at all cuz somebody's gotta do the job of killing and bringing the meat.

My parents raised rabbits mainly on lettuce peelings from grocery stores that just threw it all away. They didn't have a lot of money, but the rabbits grew big and healthy. My mother also fed them all the peelings from potatoes, carrots, apples, beets and other garden varieties. Old school and old country survival.
