Worms vs Banana Timelapse

This time lapse video contains 1,000 red wiggler worms eating a banana. This took about 30 days for them to consume it. Realized after the video was done that the bin didn't contain as many worms as I thought. I thought I placed around 3,000 red wigglers in the bin. I think that is one reason why the banana wasn't consumed earlier than 30 days.

Check out some other videos here:

Hope you enjoy this time lapse video. Worm composting is amazing and helps the environment out. Vermicomposting is a great valuable way to recycle the household waste. It's also a great way to make your own natural fertilizer for your garden or inside plants.

Some compost worms you can use are: Red wrigglers, tiger worms, and african night crawlers. If you give the worms plenty of food to compost you will have happy red wigglers which will multiply like crazy.

Loved the ending! I always check under things I put in the worm box to see if they are partying under there. Thanks!

Another fantastic Time Lapse! I wonder the time difference in having a whole banana (or other fruit) vs a whole banana with a small puncture or slice in it so they have an entry way to the flesh. I assume the first several days they can't get into it in this time lapse video. Love the reverse at the end...it's becoming your signature!🪱🪱🪱

I really like your videos. I checked your channel and didn't see a slow playback or real time playback. Is that posted?

How do you deal with the seedlings? I recently had cherry tomatoes in mine and there are baby seedlings everywhere now lol
