If your Dreamcast died replace the capacitors in the power supply, I made a video repairing a Dreamcast and modding it with SD card mod. Fun fact indie companies still make Sega Genesis and Dreamcast games.

You should invest in a GD-EMU. You didn't specify what made your DreamCast die, but if it's just the drive then you should absolutely buy a GD-EMU.
