This 3D-printed, open source robot is the future of the 21st century, according to Intel's futurist Brian David Johnson. The fully customizable bot will be so easy to build, any tech-literate high schooler could do it, Johnson claims. Just don't ask it to clean your floors.

EZ-Robot has started a Robot Revolution with 3d printed robots and the EZ-B robot controller.
Jimmy could use an EZ-B so he could hear, see, walk, talk and listen to commands and do them. EZ=B can track faces and control 20 servos at once.

Really interesting how 3d print changed the game. And how movies and literature and comics make the base for tech so the future really will look like in the movies. Like the cellphone come from star trek, the submarine from Julius Verne, etc.

lol don't let artists design a robot for the future based off ones they seen in a Pixar movie. where are the ball jointed ankles it will need to keep it's balance? you need ball joints in the hips and ankles or a more thought out system then a basic pivot points.
If they actually built this one and it tried taking it's first step it would fall right over without question.
