I have the Nikkie Tutorials palette and my shimmers are really creamy and foiled. I have heard other people say they were dry too. Makes me think there is definitely inconsistent formula. That’s too bad because it’s so beautiful!

Imagine just getting a real makeup collection going and then the pandemic shuts everything down. Girl I don't use ANY of my shit anymore lol. Not even motivated to do looks just to hang out around the house or take pictures really.

For a long time, I was convinced that liquid foundation was a gold standard that I absolutely needed to use, even though I would get way more compliments when I wore my BareMinerals loose powder foundation. Like strangers would stop me in the grocery store to let me know how beautiful my skin looked. And applying my makeup up would take less than half the time to achieve a flawlessly blended base. I guess because it was easy, it didn't feel like "real" makeup. But all those bottles of liquid foundation are now going to waste. 🤦🏾‍♀️

I have the opposite problem with Nikkis palette- my mattes are chalky and don't blend and then my shimmers are great. Maybe the entire production of the palette was inconsistent lol

I find it interesting when I hear people talk about how they don't use colourful makeup, because I never wear neutrals. I do the same thing where I'll buy something neutral and tell myself I'll learn to enjoy them, and then never end up wearing any of it, because I hate neutrals on myself. 😂
